SNOW DAY IN SEATTLE!!

Being from MN & WI, 5 inches of snow doesn't sound like a lot. But in the Seattle metro, it basically means the breakdown of society. With all of the snow (ha ha), we got to enjoy an afternoon off in the white stuff. Here's some cool pics of the little man and Cooper enjoying a romp in the backyard.

Cooper running like crazy in the snow.

Rudolf the red nosed Josh man.

Josher lovin the snow.

Yipppppeeeeeee!!!!

Why can't it snow more often out here??
Enjoy your Christmas everyone! Happy Holidays!!

The Santa Breakfast

So I had the honor today to be THE photographer for the Covinton Hollydaze's & Kiwanis Santa Breakfast. We had about 150 kids come through, and get their pictures taken with the big guy. Needless to say, I am exhausted. Good thing there are some good college football games on today, cause this guy is going horizontal.

Well, without further delay, here are the munchkins with Jolly Old St. Nick.

The Moose are Loose!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone! I hope your Turkey Day was a good one. We stayed home this year, and had a very low key Holiday. We did get out and about this weekend. The fam traveled to Northwest Trek in Eatonville, WA on Saturday to check out the cool animals, and let the kids run around. Boy, did they ever!

The kids eatin some fruit snacks and taking a break from seeing lots of cool animals.

What a beautiful October Day at Mount Rainier!

We had a great day at Mount Rainier today. The fall color was amazing, and the kids had a blast on their first real hike. The four of us hopped on the Van Trump/Comet Falls trail on the south side of Mount Rainier National Park. It was 1.8 miles basically straight up to Comet Falls (not that great of a falls), and then another 1.8 back to the car. I've included some of our pictures from the hike, and we finished up the day up at the Paradise Visitor Center, and trails leading out from there. Probably the last fall day until Rainier gets buried under a truckload of snow.

Josh, Nicole, and Ashley making their way down the trail.

Josh playing with branches and twigs along the trail

The view from the trail above the Visitor Lodge at Paradise. It was incredible today!

A waterfall along the trailhead that we took today. Very pretty!

Same waterfall with a couple others included from the hike.

Ashley enjoying the ride on Mommy's back on the way down the trail! Daddy carried her all the way up! He's getting old and sore....hahahaha!

Josh and Daddy taking some time on the way down to get some nice pictures!

Mom, Ashley, and Josh enjoying the killer view. Plus, the kids got to eat snow. I'm sure that's all they'll talk about now.

Josh enjoying the beautiful fall colors of Mt. Rainier.

Beans getting the closeup while riding in the backpack. Sweeeet.
Until our next post, hope the weekend went great for everybody!

Sorry for the hiatus

I apologize for not blogging in quite some time. My bad. Sincerely, I do apologize. I hope you all have been well. For the one or two people that actually check this blog, I'm glad you are sticking with us.

Fall has come in the Pacific Northwest. We are getting LOTS of rain. We did have a nice Saturday, and I did get to snap some pictures. So enjoy! Here's some pics of Ashley and Josher....

New Website!

Hi Everyone!

I just rolled out another website! Check out www.pudwellphotography.com for all of the latest landscape, nature, and wildlife pictures by ME!

From now on, www.scottpudwellphotography.com is going to be used for weddings, portraits, candids, and the new website will host all of my landscape and nature photos.

Things are quiet on the homefront. Nicole and I are leaving for Vegas (yeah, baby) on Saturday, and Nicole's parents are coming out to watch the monsters........always good to see grandma and grandpa (or as Josh calls him: Princess Leia).

Have a great Monday night!

Almost Forgot!

A big congratulations to my brother and family for welcoming their newest member to the world. Brayden James was born a couple of weeks ago, and I got to meet the little guy last weekend in Chicago at my Grandma's 85th birthday party.
Here's a couple of pictures to gander at:

Live from Maple Valley, it's Saturday Night!

I thought I would include some pictures from the summer that didn't make the blog or website. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Beaner enjoying bathtime!

The family in Leavenworth, WA. If you haven't been here, it's like being transported into Bavaria (Germany for those that are geographically challenged) and only 3 hours from Seattle!

A lovely Monarch butterfly resting on a flower.

My favorite picture that I took this summer on my trip to Alaska in August. Here's the road to Wonder Lake in Denali N.P. with Mt. McKinley in the background.
