Family fun on Sunday!

Here's some pictures from our romp through the wildflowers at Flaming Geyser State Park. The kids had a blast with all of the flowers, and watching the airplanes circling in the sky. It was another lovely weekend in Washington!

Aren't these kids adorable? I guess I'm a little biased. But I love these two!

Saturday T-Ball Madness!

Welcome to baseball season everyone! I thought I would add a hodge podge of pictures from one of Josh's T-ball games. He still loves to hit, but we are still working on his fielding. We haven't mastered the idea of being ready for the ball in the field yet, but I'm sure it will come in time. He's a fan of Ichiro, and he always says that he tries to field the ball like Mr. Suzuki from the Mariners. Too bad I can't get the kid hooked on a good Brewers or Twins player yet. Still trying though!

Happy Summer! Be back again soon.

I want to ride my bicycle

Beans on wheels!

Hey there. Trying to blog a little more. Hope everyone is having a good week! Looking forward to the weekend here at the Pudwell house. Big weekend of T-ball. Josh and I are heading to the Mariners-Red Sox game tomorrow night. He's super excited to go to a "night" game, and the little man has been practicing singing "Take me out to the ballgame" every night before he goes to sleep. I hope he can last until the 7th inning so we can sing the national pastime's favorite anthem. Can't wait to have a nice father-son bonding night!

Happy Mom's Day, Yo.

OK, I finally have returned with a new posting. I apologize for the delay. I thought that I would retire, and then unretire, and retire, and then unretire again. Oh wait, I guess I think I have been watching a little too much Favre news. My bad.

Well, I wanted to pass along my special Mother's Day edition! Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there, and especially to the important women in my life. Thank you, and I love you very much. I hope your day was wonderful!

We had a great day hanging out on the homefront. Started with a 5am shoot in downtown Seattle, a little church, and then some gardening.

I hope you enjoy the pics. We'll see you again soon. Think Spring =)!

Here's my lovely bride (jumping for joy on her day)!!!

SNOW DAY IN SEATTLE!!

Being from MN & WI, 5 inches of snow doesn't sound like a lot. But in the Seattle metro, it basically means the breakdown of society. With all of the snow (ha ha), we got to enjoy an afternoon off in the white stuff. Here's some cool pics of the little man and Cooper enjoying a romp in the backyard.

Cooper running like crazy in the snow.

The Santa Breakfast

So I had the honor today to be THE photographer for the Covinton Hollydaze's & Kiwanis Santa Breakfast. We had about 150 kids come through, and get their pictures taken with the big guy. Needless to say, I am exhausted. Good thing there are some good college football games on today, cause this guy is going horizontal.

Well, without further delay, here are the munchkins with Jolly Old St. Nick.

The Moose are Loose!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone! I hope your Turkey Day was a good one. We stayed home this year, and had a very low key Holiday. We did get out and about this weekend. What a beautiful October Day at Mount Rainier!

We had a great day at Mount Rainier today. The fall color was amazing, and the kids had a blast on their first real hike. The four of us hopped on the Van Trump/Comet Falls trail on the south side of Mount Rainier National Park. It was 1.8 miles basically straight up to Comet Falls (not that great of a falls), and then another 1.8 back to the car. I've included some of our pictures from the hike, and we finished up the day up at the Paradise Visitor Center, and trails leading out from there. Probably the last fall day until Rainier gets buried under a truckload of snow.

Josh, Nicole, and Ashley making their way down the trail.

Josh playing with branches and twigs along the trail

The view from the trail above the Visitor Lodge at Paradise. It was incredible today!

A waterfall along the trailhead that we took today. Very pretty!

Same waterfall with a couple others included from the hike.

Ashley enjoying the ride on Mommy's back on the way down the trail! Daddy carried her all the way up! He's getting old and sore....hahahaha!

Josh and Daddy taking some time on the way down to get some nice pictures!

Mom, Ashley, and Josh enjoying the killer view. Plus, the kids got to eat snow. I'm sure that's all they'll talk about now.

Josh enjoying the beautiful fall colors of Mt. Rainier.

Beans getting the closeup while riding in the backpack. Sweeeet.
Until our next post, hope the weekend went great for everybody!

Sorry for the hiatus

I apologize for not blogging in quite some time. My bad. Sincerely, I do apologize. I hope you all have been well. For the one or two people that actually check this blog, I'm glad you are sticking with us.

Fall has come in the Pacific Northwest. We are getting LOTS of rain. We did have a nice Saturday, and I did get to snap some pictures. So enjoy! Here's some pics of Ashley and Josher....

New Website!

Hi Everyone!

I just rolled out another website! Check out www.pudwellphotography.com for all of the latest landscape, nature, and wildlife pictures by ME!

From now on, www.scottpudwellphotography.com is going to be used for weddings, portraits, candids, and the new website will host all of my landscape and nature photos.

Things are quiet on the homefront. Nicole and I are leaving for Vegas (yeah, baby) on Saturday, and Nicole's parents are coming out to watch the monsters........always good to see grandma and grandpa (or as Josh calls him: Princess Leia).

Have a great Monday night!

Almost Forgot!

A big congratulations to my brother and family for welcoming their newest member to the world. Brayden James was born a couple of weeks ago, and I got to meet the little guy last weekend in Chicago at my Grandma's 85th birthday party.
Here's a couple of pictures to gander at:

Live from Maple Valley, it's Saturday Night!

I thought I would include some pictures from the summer that didn't make the blog or website. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Beaner enjoying bathtime!

The family in Leavenworth, WA. If you haven't been here, it's like being transported into Bavaria (Germany for those that are geographically challenged) and only 3 hours from Seattle!

Delay.........

Hey there, blog fans. Sorry I have been on hiatus for awhile. I was back in Chicago for my Grandma's 85th birthday party from last Thursday until yesterday. It really isn't an excuse, but it is what it is. Plus, I had to watch the Packers beat the Vikings for the 5th time in a row, so I really haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to my dear old blog.

Anywho......I promise that I will get some new pics and updates going this week. Just not tomorrow night because I have to coach Josh's first soccer practice. So maybe Wednesday.......stay tuned.

Here's a pic I took of the Chicago theater on Saturday in the Windy City. And another one of my buddy, Steve, who is a rockstar in Rockford, IL. Enjoy the night.
